Ginatang Kamote at saging (Patate douce et Plantain au créme de coco)

Sweet potato and plantain banana in coconut cream

1 piece medium sweet potato (cubed)
2 pieces plantain banana or saba ripe (cubed)
1 can coconut cream
3 tbsp. of sugar
Jackfruit if availabale..i have a pocket of dried one bought from Paris last February which is made from Vietnam....taste very good and crunchy. I added some pieces to my ginatan.. and it gives a mild flavor and smell of jackfruit.. tasty.. yummmm

Boil slowly the coconut cream with sugar.. add little water if too thick. Then add the sweet potato and plantain banana..and the jackfruit.. simmer till soft. I personnally like eating them warm not hot nor cold.. but anyway is possible.

I made ginataan for the first time this week. Can you believe that, after all these years of eating it!
We've had Crisp Bits banana chips. They're okay and I'm sure the langka is even better.
